To get started, you'll need to download and install Droid Ei App
from Google Play Store, make sure you have the Arduino application installed and a compatible I/O board along with a LED.
Upload Droid Ei emulator to your I/O board
This section assumes you are familiar with the Arduino application and the process of uploading new programs ('sketches') to the I/O board. If you are new to Arduino, please first see the Getting Started section for your platform (Mac, Windows or Linux) on the Arduino
Upload this code into your I/O board.
Creating a device
After registering in Droid Ei, login to your Account and follow these steps.
Click on New Project. Name you new project as Hello World.
Add a new button from the top right of the window.
Click on the Button to edit the event & button style.
Add this event digitalWrite(5,HIGH); ( You can use any pin ).
Click on Save after completing your project.
Wire a LED to your I/O board
Wire up the LED with the I/O board to right pin you mentioned in code.
Setting up Droid Ei App
Install Droid Ei App from Google Play store.
Login with your account.
Select Hello World project from the list.
Choose Droid Ei Mode.( In Board mode you need to upload program to the I/O board as normal. )
Press the button.
Running the Hello World example from another mobile
Droid Ei enable cross mobile communication with your board. You can control your device from anywhere on any mobile phone. To do this you need to enable Wirless Control
and require a Wi-fi / Packet Data on your android reciever.
Select the project from app and enable Wireless Control On.
Login to your account on www.droidei.com from any other mobile.
Choose a project.
The controller will be loaded to the mobile.
Now you can remotley control your accessory.
